Dear Brother Knights and Families,
I would like to introduce myself as your new Field Agent. I am Wayne Winters. I have an extensive and diverse background in the insurance business and with the Knights. I have been a Knight since 1988 (over 22 years). I am a member of Good Samaritan Council #6175 in Sterling, VA. I have been active in the Council and as a volunteer. I have been in the insurance business in some capacity since 1973 (over 37 years). I started as an agent, became an agency recruiter and manager, training director, Vice President of an insurance industry nonprofit and a Regional Sales Manager.
I joined the Knights Insurance Program in October, 2010. I began my career as a field agent with a great company, now I get to close out my career with the Best Fraternal Benefit Society – The Knights of Columbus. Father McGivney gave us the opportunity to help our Brother Knights and Families. The Field Agents continue that mission: “Changing lives for the better, one member at a time.”
Our insurance program is well run, conservative and profitable for the members and the Order. Insurance coverage and premiums have increased steadily for many years. The insurance program maintains the highest possible industry ratings from AM Best and Standard & Poor’s, the insurance industry rating agencies. We offer Permanent and Term Life Insurance, Long Term Care, and Annuities. We anticipate adding Disability Income Insurance, new Life Insurance products and other enhancements in the near future.
