ADMISSION COMMITTEE:
Two transfers were
read: John K. Needham and Kirk S. Lambert.
Both were
approved.
8. GRAND KNIGHT’S
REPORT:
GRAND KNIGHT REPORTED.
Good news, great Veteran’s Day Mass and brunch. Both Br May and Br Torrey
spoke and will repeat their speeches tonight.
Dec 18th will be Council Christmas Party 1:00-5:00 PM.
Also can continue support for hurricane relief. The District is looking
for more and Nativity Council came up with the idea of building cubbies
for school in Mississippii. Sign up list will be passed around.
A Problem came up with Feb 25th Polish night. It is after
Sweetheart and before St Patrick’s Day Dance. So some feel it is too
close to both so we are looking to transfer to another time (or keep as
Knights only event).
9. READING OF BILLS AND CORRESPONDENCE:
Br Criste of Council
7771 wrote to ask support for Divine Mercy Care sponsors of the Tepeyac
Family Center. They are planning a Gala Dinner and Live Auction and are
asking us to advertise in their program and perhaps support them by buying
a table (8).
Br. Desilets of
Council 12434 wrote to ask us to help support Mariamante Academy in
Fredericksburg. They are sponsoring a raffle fundraiser the allows the
supporting organizations to keep 50% of the funds raised up to $6000 and
100% thereafter.
Note from Fr. Mode. Read in by Br. Vanderbeek. He is asking for popcorn
and oil.

Party coming up.
Cubmaster, Janet
Ramos, met with Fr. Barkett today and discussed how best to increase the
number of cubs. Progress was made. Cub Scouts will be in the Church
every Wed. from 6:30 to 7:30 with pack meeting being third Wed of month at
7:00 PM in Farrell Hall. Thanks to Br. Marotta for allowing them to help
with pancake breakfast….they would like to do more.
Boy Scouts and Venture
Crew collected almost 500 pounds of canned foods for the pantry last
Saturday. Scouts will unload Christmas Trees the Friday after
Thanksgiving.

Br. Halpin made a
motion that was seconded that we provide a donation of $500 to Gerard
Maurer II to support his ministry.
Voted and passed.

Br. Don Wilkinson
Moved for $550 to sponsor Children’s Christmas Party. Was Seconded.
Passed.
Br. Don Wilkinson
moved up to $100 to support Free Throw Plaques. Was Seconded.
Passed.
Br. Halprin moved $50
in commemoration of Vet Days. Was Seconded

DEGREE:

monthly meeting will be tomorrow evening.

21. GOOD OF THE ORDER: .
PRAYERS WERE OFFERED FOR CONTINUED RECOVERY AND GOOD HEALTH FOR AILING
BROTHERS, WIVES AND FAMILIES. WE PRAY FOR THE POPE AND ALL PRIESTS AND
RELIGIOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, THAT THEY MAY BE REVITALIZED IN THEIR
MINISTRIES. PRAYERS FOR THOSE WHO LEAD AND SERVE IN THE MILITARY AT HOME
AND ABROAD. PRAYERS WERE OFFERED FOR THE SOULS OF DECEASED BROTHERS,
THEIR FAMILIES AND FOR MEMBERS OF BROTHERS’ FAMILIES.
Br. Both Br May and Br Torrey spoke and will repeated their speeches.
