Dec 18 GK Christmas Party OSMH 1-5 PM.
Br. Scott Leitch has accepted the Kovar Chairmanship.
We have Eagle Scout award for Scout Mich Donovan son of PGK Tim Donovan.

Council Meetings.
Christmas Card sales
have started and we need volunteers.
Sanctuary of Life
sub-committee has been formed.
B. COMMUNITY –.
Gene Molinelli / Br. Burbank
Br. Holland reported on
food basket drive. Asked for Thanksgiving basket to be delivered the
Saturday before Thanksgiving. Passed around sign up list.
Br. Scott Lee reported
on Kovar. Need site captains. Remember to keep your CFC or UA slips to
turn in,

Bazar at NVTC that needs volunteers to help patients 7-9 Friday evening Nov.
18th.
Br. Garry reported on
food ministry. Have five vacancies coming up on the two rosters. Needs
volunteers to step forward to fill these voids.
Route 123 cleanup done
last Saturday.
Katrina relief raised
$5,700 in addition to Council contribution.
Need phone tree
volunteers.
C. COUNCIL –
George Wassif
Br. Geoff Smith reported
on Christmas Trees. Delivery day after Thanksgiving. Schedule prepared and
still need help on Dec 18th.
Nov. 18th
need help moving lumber at 1:00 PM.
Dec 18th need
shift captain from 12-3
Need volunteers on
several days later in December.
Br. Barone reported on
Veteran’s Day. Meet and go to 9:15 Mass and sit by piano. After mass we
will go out to eat (Spartan’s or Brian’s). Family affair.

GK Hovan reported on
Crowder Family Farm Picnic this past weekend.
Br. DeRosa has someone
willing to help with Polish night.

E. YOUTH – Rich

Br. Wilkinson reported
on sales of coupon books.
Br. DeRosa reported on a
number of Scout activities.
Br. Dave Sharp
(Chartered Organization Representative) reported on Cub Scout Troop 697.
They are concerned about the size of the Cub Scout Troop, but believe with
increased visibility their ranks will fill.
Boy Scout report later
in meeting.
Venture Crew is planning
its high adventure summer camp experience for next year.
PGK Barone spoke on
Polish night. This year it will be for the Parish not just the Council.
Will sell tickets to keep tabs on the number of meals we need to prepare.
Will start to advertise in January.

Br. Halpin reported on
two requests for charitable donations.

A donation of $500 to
Gerard Maurer II to support his ministry.
Tabled.

Queen of Apostles
Church asked for support for books for military. Moved for $50.
Will be handled as GK
discretionary item.
18. DISTRICT DEPUTY REPORT: Br. Mike Poumade reported:
Youth free throw
competition Jan. 8th at Holy Spirit Gym would work at 3:00.
Jan. 22cd for State
competition in Richmond.
4th Degree in
Spring.
Election coming up next
week. Please vote, it is your duty.
All Saints Day is good
time to recall Fr. McGivney efforts and McGivney Guild.
19. REPORT OF THE 4TH
DEGREE PGK Lee:
Reported on fourth
degree exemplification coming up this weekend. Another next Spring.
20. FIELD AGENT
REPORT: NONE
21. GOOD OF THE ORDER: .
PRAYERS WERE OFFERED FOR CONTINUED RECOVERY AND GOOD HEALTH FOR AILING
BROTHERS, WIVES AND FAMILIES. WE PRAY FOR THE POPE AND ALL PRIESTS AND
RELIGIOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, THAT THEY MAY BE REVITALIZED IN THEIR
MINISTRIES. PRAYERS FOR THOSE WHO LEAD AND SERVE IN THE MILITARY AT HOME
AND ABROAD. PRAYERS WERE OFFERED FOR THE SOULS OF DECEASED BROTHERS, THEIR
FAMILIES AND FOR MEMBERS OF BROTHERS’ FAMILIES..
Br. McFarland delivered a report:
Pastoral Council news - Dick Lee will be replacing me on Pastoral
Council. Thelma Garry will be serving as a Co-Chair with Br. Lee.
Father Paul is working very hard since we went to two Priests. Father
DeLaney has committed to help out at St. Mary’s. When that is approved we
should be able to get masses reinstated at Historic Church,
GN Hovan presented awards:
Family of Month for September – Joe and Judy Boyle.
Knight of Month September – John LaRosa
Month of October Family of Month – Br. D’Andrea
Knight of Month for October – Br. Cella
